Tapville Social

Local team review
The self-pour wall is the hook, but here's the secret: load your RFID wristband and start with the ciders and sours before graduating to the IPAs. Pouring by the ounce means you can sample eight or ten options without committing to a single bad pint, and the freedom to experiment is genuinely fun. The smoked brisket tacos with pickled onion and queso fresco were the food surprise — tender, smoky, and better than most dedicated taco spots. Weekend brunch with the chicken and waffles drizzled in hot honey is becoming a habit I'm not trying to break.
About the Restaurant
Tapville Social built its concept around a simple, brilliant idea: a wall of 64 self-serve taps dispensed by the ounce, so you can try a sip of everything before committing to a full pour. Founded by Naperville residents Joseph and Rachael Tota in 2018, it fills a gap between the serious craft beer bars and the casual pubs. The food menu has grown beyond bar snacks into proper brunch territory on weekends, and the Friday-Sunday brunch draws a loyal crowd. The vibe is unmistakably social, communal tables, board games, and a steady rotation of live music and trivia nights.
Insider Tip
The self-pour system charges by the ounce, try 2-ounce samples of everything before committing. The mango habanero cider is a sleeper.
