Morton's The Steakhouse

Local team review
The tableside presentation of raw cuts before you order is old-school theater that never gets old — seeing the marbling on that porterhouse in person makes the decision for you. The jumbo lump crab cake was all crab and minimal filler, with a Dijon mustard sauce that let the sweetness of the meat speak. What I appreciate most is the creamed spinach: rich, velvety, and unapologetically indulgent in a way that reminds you steakhouse sides are supposed to be decadent, not virtuous. This is the kind of restaurant where the hot chocolate cake with its molten center provides the final, butter-soaked exclamation point.
About the Restaurant
Morton's has been doing one thing for decades and doing it at a level that makes the competition sweat. The Naperville outpost, tucked into the CityGate corridor off Freedom Drive, delivers the same white-glove service and USDA Prime beef that built the brand. Expect tableside presentations of raw cuts before you order, a theatrical touch that never gets old. The double-cut filet is the star, but regulars know the porterhouse is where the real magic happens.
Insider Tip
The bar menu offers the same prime steaks at a fraction of the dining room price, Naperville's best-kept steak secret.
