Lennon's occupies three floors on Jefferson Avenue and each level delivers a different experience: globally inspired small plates on the main floor, a lounge upstairs, and a rooftop that opens seasonally. The L.T. Deviled Eggs arrived as a refined take on the classic, piped smooth and topped with garnishes that elevated the familiar into something worth photographing. The Spiced Lamb Meatballs brought Moroccan-inspired flavors with a warmth that lingered pleasantly, while the Octopus, charred and tender, demonstrated a kitchen with genuine technique. The Lennon's Big Burger is the exception to the small-plates rule, a full-sized creation topped with aged cheddar and house-made pickles that satisfies when sharing is not the mood. The Granny Smith Tarte Tatin closed the evening with caramelized apples and a buttery crust that showed real pastry skill. The cocktail program is thoughtfully constructed with seasonal rotations that match the kitchen's creativity. The space itself is beautifully designed, with warm tones and intimate lighting that make it one of the most date-worthy rooms in downtown Naperville.
