Danny's Pub & Grill

Danny's Pub sits in a strip mall on Route 59 that you might drive past a dozen times without noticing, but the half-pound Angus burgers inside deserve a deliberate stop. We went with the Swiss and Shroom, a combination of sautéed mushrooms, melted Swiss, and grilled onions on a brioche bun that arrived juicy and slightly charred at the edges. The menu lists twenty-five burger variations, each built on Braveheart Angus beef that is never frozen, and the kitchen treats every order as if reputation depends on it. Irish Egg Rolls stuffed with smoked corned beef and sauerkraut make a convincing case as the best appetizer on the strip. The brisket sandwich, slow-smoked and carved onto Texas toast with caramelized onions, crosses into barbecue territory without apology. The bar side stays open late with craft taps and a loyal crowd of regulars who have turned this into a genuine neighborhood gathering spot.
