On a drizzly Saturday, we ducked in without a reservation and landed at a corner two-top that felt like it had been waiting for us. The shrimp and grits caught us off-guard: creamy stone-ground grits topped with sautéed Gulf shrimp, andouille sausage, and a smoky tomato broth that demanded a spoon. The evening cocktail menu deserves its own visit: the Library Old Fashioned, smoked tableside with cherry and bourbon, is the kind of drink that makes you forget you're in the suburbs. Skip the obvious brunch picks and ask your server what's new on the seasonal rotation. That's where the kitchen really flexes.
